We developed a multi-functional mobile app that combined event management, social networking, business listings, and devotional resources into a unified platform. Key features included:

• Events & News: Users can view upcoming events, create and manage their own events, and access the latest community news.
• Business, Artist, and Professional Listings: Community members can list businesses, services, and artist profiles, offering a platform for professionals to connect and collaborate.
• Jobs Section: Members can share job opportunities in a simple, message-like format, akin to WhatsApp. Job postings are informal and easy to browse, allowing community members to stay informed about employment opportunities. Users can also upload resumes during profile creation, enhancing job visibility.
• Devotional & Media Section: Dedicated to religious needs, this section includes a library of aartis, bhajans, and religious texts like the Ramayan and Geeta. Aartis and bhajans link to YouTube for playback, while the texts are available in a readable format within the app.
• Social Wall: Similar to Instagram, the app features a wall where users can share updates, images, and other content, creating an interactive space for community interaction.
• Group Chat and Messaging: Users can create group chats and engage in conversations with other community members, fostering a sense of belonging and enabling easier event coordination.
• Family Tree Feature: Members can create family trees, recording details such as names, relationships, birth dates, and Gotra, a cultural attribute. This feature promotes family history preservation and connection among community members.
• Special Announcements: Dedicated sections for birthdays, obituaries, and personal biodata allow members to share important life events and keep the community informed.
• Subscription Management and In-App Advertising: We implemented a subscription model for premium content and placed ad modules for businesses relevant to the community, enabling revenue generation while providing valuable content.
• QR Code Payment Option: The app includes a simple, secure payment method using QR codes, facilitating easy transactions for event payments and subscriptions.
